Essential LED Light Therapy & Treatments

We do not recommend LED Light Therapy if you have epilepsy, you are pregnant or undergoing IVF treatments or any other conditions that are affected by a rise in body temperature. We have a number of safe treatments for Mums to be or if you are breast feeding. Speak with our knowledgeable team.

We recommend following the advice of the treating physician. Please advise our Skin Specialists of any treatments you have had within 14 days of your appointment. When booking we'd be happy to help find the best session for you.

LED is a non-invasive treatment and it cannot be overused, the benefits are cumulative. For optimal results we recommend regular light therapy sessions, 2-3 times a week, or daily sessions for pain management. A recommended treatment plan will be provided to you by our Skin Specialiasts. We have designed our membership to maximise your access to LED Light Therapy and Treatments.

For LED Light Therapy sessions, we recommend arriving with a fresh face, LED Light Therapy can be inhibited by some products including makeup and SPF. This also minimises waste by reducing our footprint on the planet by using less consumables and water. Our Refresh Station has options if time catches up with you.

Yes, our state-of-the-art studio includes private LED cocoons for you to enjoy the benefits in your own space. Our Treatment room is a dedicated space reserved for our 30 minute sessions. It is a private space but there is no need to remove any clothing - our sessions are designed for results with speed and efficiency in mind.

No, none of the products available at LYSS are tested on animals. All of our products have been assessed and verified in terms of safety, efficacy, ingredients, packaging and supply chain to ensure the highest standards are met.

If you have epilepsy or other conditions that are affected by a rise in body temperature we recommend consulting with your doctor before you undertake LED Light Therapy. It is important you advise us of shellfish and aspirin allergies or religious practices forbidding shellfish so we can adjust your HydraFacial treatment accordingly. Still unsure? Subscription Membership

Our LYSS subscription memberships are $220 per month for unlimited LED light sessions. No lock-in contracts and no obligation (other than the commitment you make to healthy skin). Given our accessible pricing we do have a limited number of memberships which we review from time to time in order to manage the capacity of our studio.

Membership payments are processed on the anniversary of your first payment in advance each month and renew automatically - note this may take a few days after the billing date to appear on your account. If you wish to cease your monthly membership cancel via the Fresha app before your next direct debit. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Extensions will not be provided for public holiday closures.

We understand that sometimes you need to hit pause — our memberships are not refundable, extendable or transferrable unless otherwise agreed by Light Years in advance.

You may update your payment method in the Fresha app.

Memberships and packages are not transferrable.

A four session pack entitles you to up to 4 sessions in one calendar month. This pack expires after one calendar month. Its is not transferrable, extendable or refundable. It is not a membership and does not qualify you for extended membership benefits.

Booking & Policies

For LED Light Therapy we offer a walk in policy. However, if you want to book a specific time or a Treatment you can book online or contact us.

We'll message you approximatley 48 hours before your session as a courtesy reminder.

If you can't make a booked appointment, please contact us as we may be able to move things around for you. You can cancel free of charge but ask you to be considerate of our ability to rebook your appointment time. Please arrive 5 minutes early to your session and ensure your skin is pre-cleansed so that we start on time and that you receive the full benefit of your Treatment. Cancellations must be made online by using our booking system Fresha or calling the studio. Messages via Facebook, Instagram or text message wont be accepted.

Given that all our Treatment room sessions are 30 minutes long, running late means we won't be able to accommodate you. No problem - we’ll rebook you for the next available appointment, but again ask you to be considerate in this regard.

We offer Gift cards for sale and these can be used towards any of our sessions or products. Note these are non-refundable, must be used within 3 years of purchase and can't be redeemed for cash. In the event that you have lost or have a gift card stolen - please contact us asap and we will work with you towards a solution.

We accept Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, American Express. All sessions must be paid for in full on or before the day of treatment. For new memberships, this requires payment of the first month's subscription.

We reserve the right to alter prices without further notice. Memberships on hold may be reinstated at revised pricing. Member benefits do not apply to paused or held memberships.

We do not refund on membership payment, gift cards or product purchases for change of mind so please choose carefully. Cosmelan and all bundled packages are non refundable, except where Australian consumer law requires otherwise. If a product purchased from LYSS is unopened, please contact us within 14 days of purchase to discuss potential exchange or a credit.
